“Tally Top Dog -vs- Capital City Kitty” kicks off February 18, 2012, with a live family-friendly event at the former Goody’s location in Tallahassee Mall (2415 North Monroe). Food, drinks, entertainment and door prizes will be provided, and local vendors will showcase a wide array of products.

Be The Solution, Inc. would like to congratulate our Tallahassee Top Dog 2011 winner - ARI! With 1,203 votes, Ari took home the title of Tallahassee's Top Dog! He earned a ride on his very own Springtime Tallahassee parade float along with over $1,000 in prizes. Including:

  • 1 Year of Dog Food from Earth Fare
  • 3 Day, 2 Night Stay at the Residence Inn by Marriot in San Destin

Thank you for your continued support! All funds raised from Tallahassee Top Dog are being used to help end pet overpopulation in our area by providing low cost spay and neuter surgeries to citizens that are unable to afford the surgery costs on their own.

We raised $41,638 from votes, sponsorships and in-kind donations from area vets that will enable 730 dogs and cats to be spayed or neutered. Congratulations to Ruth Nickens and her labradoodle "Ari", our overall winner who was named Tallahassee's Top Dog as well as named Top Citizen Dog! Congratulations also to our Official Dog winner, Superintendent Jackie Pons and his dog Rufus, and Business Dog winner Fred Tedio from Uptown Cafe and Catering and his dog Sukie.
